Getting There & Back

Tbilisi Airport, nearest Gudauri, is 125 km, 2 hours drive from the resort.
A taxi from the airport is 60-120 USD per one-way for a 3-seater car (often without winter tires). The cost of the preordered transfer is from 65 USD (for a 3-seater 4x4 vehicle with winter tires) to 120 USD (for a 20-seater minibus).

Getting Around

Taxi within the resort cost 10-20 GEL (about 3-7 USD) per car, and taxi to the beginning or end of ski-touring routes costs 50-150 GEL per car, depending on the distance. Taxi can be ordered from any hotel or found near food stores.

All hotels, restaurants, and bars accept payments via VISA&MasterCard. Cash is useful for ordering taxis and buying souvenirs. ATM is available in the New Gudauri in the SPAR hypermarket, and in the Central Gudauri - in the SMART hypermarket and in the Marco Polo hotel. You can change cash at the TBC Bank in the Marco Polo hotel (from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on weekends) or across the street from the Smart hypermarket in central Gudauri. In the Smart hypermarket and in all exchange offices of New Gudauri, the exchange rate of cash currency is less favorable.
